82 Percent Say U.S. on "Wrong Track"

Posted by Matt Ortega on May 12, 2008 at 02:30 PM

ABC News:

Public disgruntlement neared a record high and President Bush slipped to his career low in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll.

Eighty-two percent of Americans now say the country's seriously off on the wrong track, up 10 points in the last year to a point from its record high in polls since 1973. And 31 percent approve of Bush's job performance overall, while 66 percent disapprove.

It sounds like the American people are not looking forward to four more years of failed Bush policies at home and abroad. That can't be good for the McCain campaign and their promise of a third Bush term...

Whatever happened to the 27% diehard GOP supporters? Have they now gone off with Ron Paul and Bob Barr? I guess they don't want a third Bush term either?

as we demos count down the day's till w's departure, defected repubs are marking the days too. and w/barr running as the liberty guy, maybe just maybe, paul will be barr's running mate? then mcsame runnin' against a (i wish) obama-richardson and a paul-barr ticket. repub's worst nightmare. mcsame could be spendin' a lot of campaign money for nothin'... maybe his wife will give him a loan too? heck, maybe there is light at the end of this tunnel.

I guess Crawford, Texas will finally have its village idiot back for a little while before he stands trial for war crimes, violations of international law and crimes against humanity. McSame will never win, the reason is the office of the President needs fresh, young blood running it. The last thing we need is someone like McSame running it and pouring not this country down the drain but the world. I can't wait for this election to be over and for us to win so that we can finally undo the damage of the criminal Bush regime.

Only those mental ill or retarded would want another Bush, ever. I think that suits the Bushes fine they have robed and raped the people enough to live more than comfortable the rest of their life.
The Bush family going way back have been more than criminals. Why the stupid among us voted for him and helped him steal the election in 2000 & 2004 is unanswerable from anyone?

But what about another Clinton Term? If OBama wins, he will set up his policies similar to Bill Clintons Policies. He has all of Clinton's Cabinet Members except a few.

Some say he wants to set up the same Cabinet and Policies as Bill.

Hillary said she learned what was good about Bill's Policies and what she would do differently.

Wonder how OBama will change his policies?

Because Bush keeps vetoing everything the Democratic Congress passes and the Republican members of the Congress keeps filbustering bills and playing partisan games to prevent legislation from being passed. What also doesn't help is that we have a slim majority in the Senate which is part of the problem because the damn Republicans as well as the village idiot's proxy Mitch Mcconnell from Kentucky keeps blocking everything by playing partisan games. We need to use the nuclear option and reduce the number of votes needed to pass legislation and also finally put an end to these stupid games the Republicans are playing. I blame the Republicans and Bush for this.
